Teaching the Future: Computer Science Foundations and AI Awareness

This two-day professional development introduces educators to computer science standards, with a focus on algorithms, coding, and computational thinking aligned to the Louisiana student standards for computer science. On the second day, teachers will explore artificial intelligence concepts and practical classroom applications.

This workshop will take place on Tulane's Campus on June 30th & July 1st from 9:30 am-4:00 pm each day. There will be a 30-minute break for lunch.

Participating teachers will receive a $150 stipend upon completion of the PD. Teachers must participate in all parts of the workshop to be eligible for the stipend! . There is a $20 refundable deposit that will be refunded to teachers upon completion of the PD.
