Thanks to the generosity of Shell and The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation, we are offering a one-day virtual professional development workshop in November.
November Workshop: Using Phenomena and Driving Questions to foster students' engagement in STEM
The November Workshop will take place on Saturday, November 13th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Central each day. The workshop will include one 3-hour live session (9:00 am-12:00 pm) and 2 hours of on-your-own-time independent work during the week before.
Teachers participating in the November workshop will receive a $100 stipend upon completion of the PD. Teachers must participate in all parts of the workshop to be eligible for the stipend! Space is limited and preference is given to teachers from majority free or reduced lunch schools and teachers already in the classroom. There is a $20 refundable deposit that will be refunded to teachers upon completion of the PD.
